Julie Haniger

ATTORNEY

julie haniger

Julie brings more than 25 years of legal experience, including two decades at Google, where she led large legal teams advising business teams globally. Throughout her career, she found the greatest fulfillment in helping people navigate complex issues and develop as leaders, and in building strong, inclusive team cultures.

After leaving Google, Julie became a Certified Professional Coach, earning her certification through the Hudson Institute of Coaching. Coaching has been a natural continuation of the work she loved most throughout her legal career, allowing her to focus even more deeply on helping individuals navigate career challenges, transitions, and important decisions so they can achieve their goals with greater clarity and confidence.

When Julie decided to return to the practice of law, estate planning stood out as the perfect opportunity to combine her legal background with her passion for helping people. She enjoys guiding clients with warmth and care to help the process feel more approachable and understandable.

Julie earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Outside of work, Julie loves staying active by going to the gym, biking around her neighborhood, and exploring different parts of San Diego. She is an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on her favorite teams both at home and in person. Julie is also a proud mother of four and loves spending time with her family, whether visiting her daughters in Los Angeles and Miami or enjoying the daily rhythm of life at home with her husband, teenage son, and their dog, Scout.
